La Sarraz Pictures srl is an Italian film company based in Turin and Rome founded in 1997 by Alessandro Borrelli. Until 2003 it produced many short films and fiction features and start in the same year to develop subjects for creative documentaries. In 2004 La Sarraz Pictures became a member of European Documentary Network and a partner of "Doc.It",and was attending several pitching session and documentaries market as Merca Doc (Malaga); DocsBarcelona, DocIn Europe (Bardonecchia); Docs in Thessaloniki, DocsBarcelona, IDFA (Amsterdam) and Sunny Side of the doc (La Rochelle); Italian Doc Screenings (Venice) . In 2004 produced Kitantara, Short stories about the childhood in Madagascar, sold to RAI (Italian National Television). In 2005 produce the historical documentary Leonardo da Vinci in Locarno in co-production with RTSI (Switzerland). In Jannuary 2006 started the production of I'm not a moderate by Andrea Nobile about the politics campaign of Dario Fo, mirror of the Italian society in the year (2006) of the politics and administrative elections, in co-production with Lichtpunt (Belgium). Now is in post production for the creative documentaries Alma doble by Ivana Bosso and Francesca Gentile on the portraits of Gustavo Beytelmann and Silvia Vladimivksy: an Italian/ French co-production with the film company Project Images Films. In 2007 will start the production of the documentary The factory of dreams on a group of Albanian cartoonists by Gianluca & Massimiliano De Serio in co-production with AVRO (The Netherlands) and RAI and The last battle of the Alps by Roberto Cena and Fabio Canepa always in co-production with Gilbert Hus by Project Image (France). La Sarraz Pictures is als developing two features film project, Luminiza by Gianluca and Massimiliano De Serio and Ego te absolvo by Alessandro Bignami, screenplay which won the MEDIA New Talent Development Fund.
