"VideoAstolfoSullaLuna is an independent Italian production company founded in 1998. Over the years the company has produced mainly documentaries, covering a wide range of subjects,
from social topics to mountaineering expeditions and explorations, from anthropological surveys of the rural world to biographies of famous people.
Special attention has been devoted to the historical documentary, with the rediscovery of forgotten figures and the narration of less well-known episodes of italian history (for example, the origins of Telebiella, the first private Italian television).
The target market is principally the television. Some works have been produced in co-production with Rai and Istituto Luce, and many have been broadcast on various national networks, including Mediaset, History Channel, ESPN Classic, La7, Planete Italia.
As well as television diffusion, home video, VoD and theatrical distribution have become more popular."
