Primal Shape is an award-winning independent production company and animation studio based in Piedmont, Italy. It was founded in early 2018 by artists with over fifteen years of experience in the international animation industry. At Primal Shape, we’ve had the honor of collaborating with some of the world’s leading studios, including Axis Studios, MPC, Digic Pictures, Puppetworks, Outfit7, Minimo VFX, RAI KIDS, Lunar Animation, FRAME BY FRAME, EDI, and many others.
In 2020, we began our journey as independent producers. Since then, we have co-produced "Food Wizards" (kids TV series, 26x11'), produced by Zocotoco, Mad Entertainment, RAI KIDS, and Primal Shape, and "Venice, the most ancient City of the Future" (26-minute kids TV special), produced by Primal Shape in collaboration with RAI KIDS, which was awarded at the Tokyo Anime Award Festival in 2024.
