Summer in a small town at the foot of the mountains. Two young boys wander, apparently aimlessly, through deserted streets, a sunny countryside and disused industrial warehouses. They want to escape monotony through discovery and imagination, in pursuit of adventure.
A summer without beginning or without an end, where a journey through the fascinating transition from childhood to adolescence becomes a portrait of an age and a place; perhaps an excuse for the director to revisit the places of his childhood: the amorphous nature transformed into an industrial suburb, despised yet a few years later loved. The two protagonists are the filter through which the author rediscovers the places where he grew up and returns them to the audience, via the body and imagination of the two boys, in a continuous exchange between reality and imagination.
