Today, 24 October 2025, the new Board of Directors of Film Commission Torino Piemonte took office, which will lead the Foundation for the 2025-2029 term.
The Board of Directors has been renewed with a view to continuing the results achieved and enhancing skills, and is composed of figures with different areas of expertise who will be able to pool their knowledge and offer new stimuli for the further development of the Foundation.
Following the appointments by the Consiglio regionale del Piemonte – which designated Beatrice Borgia, Luca Olivetti and Giorgio Scianca – and the Città di Torino, which appointed Giulia Anastasia Carluccio and Carolyn Christov Bakargiev, the Board of Directors proceeded to elect the Foundation's governing bodies, which will remain in office until the approval of the final balance sheet for the last financial year of the term of office.
Beatrice Borgia was confirmed as President, while Giulia Anastasia Carluccio will once again serve as Vice President.
“I am delighted to be able to continue the process of consolidation and growth that began in 2021,” said Beatrice Borgia, Film Commission Torino Piemonte President. “I would like to thank Regione Piemonte for its renewed confidence and all the institutions that continue to support us. In the coming years, together with a highly competent and professional Board, we will work to further strengthen our strategic assets: internationality, quality and responsibility. The aim is to confirm and expand the leading role that Piedmont plays today in the Italian and international audiovisual landscape.”
“It is with great satisfaction and enthusiasm that I intend to continue and renew the fruitful work begun during the previous term of office,” adds Vice President Giulia Anastasia Carluccio. “The Foundation is a recognised and increasingly strategic entity for the region, with significant economic and visibility benefits. We will continue to invest in these areas, in synergy with key institutions and partners. I offer the experience I have gained in a career that has always combined research and teaching with practical work in cinema and audiovisual media.”
During the same meeting, the new member of the Board of Auditors appointed by the Città di Torino, Stefano D'Orazio, took office, joining Paola Gatto (Chair) and Diego Rovetti.
The Board of Directors also confirmed Paolo Manera in the role of Director, ensuring management continuity and a vision consistent with the development objectives of the regional audiovisual sector.
The Board and staff of Film Commission Torino Piemonte would like to thank outgoing members Bartolomeo Corsini, Elisa Giordano and Tatiana Mazali, and outgoing member of the Board of Auditors Maria Carmela Scandizzo, for their contribution during their term of office.
During the meeting, objectives and strategic actions for the three-year period 2025-2027 were shared, which will see further development of synergies with the Università di Torino and the Politecnico di Torino, within which the collaboration with Tatiana Mazali as Referent for the Cinema and Digital Media Engineering courses will continue.
