Festival and industry events together for the first time in November
It will start on November 4 with Contemporanea and continue until December 10 with Sottodiciotto, passing through Glocal, TFI Torino Film Industry, TorinoFilmLab and Torino Film Festival, thus creating a rich and unprecedented calendar that will enliven the city's autumn season.
The goal is shared: to join forces to shine an even brighter spotlight on the seventh art and the industry that generates it. A programme that enriches and diversifies the cultural and professional offerings related to cinema, enhancing the 'Piemonte Film Network' and its ability to create synergies. A heritage that consolidates the region's role as a centre of excellence, recognised nationally and internationally.

The “Lungo mese del cinema” will bring together, around the weeks of the Torino Film Festival, the Contemporanea Film Festival, a young festival dedicated to women's cinema, and the Glocal Film Festival, a historic showcase for regional cinema, events that were previously held at different times of the year.
After Contemporanea and Glocal, the ideal passing of the baton will lead to the eighth edition of TFI Torino Film Industry – a market coordinated by Film Commission Torino Piemonte which, among other new features, will offer an "expanded" version this year – followed by the eighteenth Meeting Event of TorinoFilmLab, which will once again bring 350 professionals and industry professionals to the city.
The Torino Film Festival, directed for the second year by Giulio Base, will also kick off during the same period. This edition will feature Paul Newman on the official poster and in the retrospective, and will begin on November 21 in the enchanting setting of the Teatro Regio, hosted by the talented Laura Chiatti.
The intense autumn weeks will be rounded off by Sotto18, which, as always, will focus on young people and schools, with a focus on Sharing Tomorrow dedicated to cinema of the real.
********
Contemporanea Film Festival
Contemporanea is a film and visual arts festival dedicated to the perspectives of women working in front of and behind the camera. The programme combines international premieres, reviews in which video art dialogues with the classics, meetings ranging from literature to technology, and an international short film competition reserved for emerging female directors from around the world. Each edition pays tribute to a great protagonist of cinema history: after Monica Vitti, Silvana Mangano and Lina Wertmüller, the fourth edition is dedicated to Anna Magnani, an icon of Italian cinema worldwide.
Glocal Film Festival
The Glocal Film Festival returns in November for its 24th edition and continues to focus its cultural activities on the promotion and dissemination of cinema made in Piedmont. In addition to the established annual showcase, which will take place between November 11 and 14 at the Cinema Massimo and other venues in Torino, from this edition onwards the festival will also visit cinemas in the other seven provinces of Piemonte.
TFI Torino Film Industry
Meeting, market and workshop for international co-production, TFI Torino Film Industry - which has always focused on new talent and new trends in cinema and audiovisual media - takes place simultaneously and in collaboration with the Torino Film Festival and the Museo Nazionale del Cinema, establishing itself as the work & business soul of the city's historic film event.
With the aim of intensifying synergies and networking opportunities, TFI is offering an 'expanded' version this year, featuring special events curated within Contemporanea, Glocal and Sottodiciotto.
Torino Film Festival
The Torino Film Festival reaches its 43rd edition this year, and since its inception has presented itself as a metropolitan festival linked to new voices in cinematic language. At the same time, it devotes particular attention to retrospectives, an opportunity to revisit and raise awareness of the trends and authors who have shaped, and in part revolutionised, the history of cinema.
TorinoFilmLab
For 18 years, TorinoFilmLab, the international audiovisual laboratory of the Museo Nazionale del Cinema, has concluded its year of activity with the TFL Meeting Event. A co-production market for feature films and TV series that brings together in Torino over 100 professionals who have participated in training and development courses, giving them the opportunity to present their projects to an audience of 250 industry professionals from around the world, sent as potential partners with whom to bring their film and TV series ideas to life. Among the 2025 projects, the new works by Tommaso Santambrogio, Ismaelillo, and Matteo Tortone, Inverno, stand out, as well as the TV series Spring, which will be produced by Santiago Fondevila Sancet of the Cinedora company, which produced Vermiglio by Maura Delpero.
Sottodiciotto Film Festival & Campus
The 26th edition of the Sottodiciotto Film Festival & Campus will take place from November 17 to December 15 for the part aimed at local schools and from 10 to 15 December for the part aimed at the general public.
