The 13th edition of Ciné – Giornate di Cinema in Riccione, the meeting and market moment of the film industry where the new releases and upcoming titles of the main distribution companies operating in Italy are presented in absolute preview to an audience of professionals in the sector, has ended successfully. The edition of Ciné 2024 has seen a significant increase in accreditations, which this year were more than 1800 in the four days inside the Palazzo dei Congressi.
For the first time, Film Commission Torino Piemonte was also among the participants, which accompanied – among the many titles of the next season – the presentation of “Non dirmi che hai paura” (Samia) and “Anywhere Anytime” in the Fandango lineup, and “Le Déluge” for the Bim Distribuzione lineup, soon to be shown in national and international theaters.
There has also been the first working table between the Italian Film Commission - the reference association for professionals and institutions of cinema and audiovisual - and national distributors to improve and optimize collaboration on new film releases. The major distribution companies were present in Riccione, who showed the audience of professionals all the cinema of the next season: 01 Distribution, Adler Entertainment, Bim Distribuzione, Eagle Pictures, Europictures, Fandango, I Wonder Pictures, Lucky Red, Medusa Film, Notorious Pictures, Officine Ubu, PiperFilm, Plaion, The Walt Disney Company, Universal Pictures, Vertice 360, Vision Distribution, Wanted Cinema, Warner Bros. Discovery.
The program of events was very rich, with the big names of the leading talents of Italian cinema and full of conventions and presentations, evenings dedicated to the celebration of a great season of cinema, previews, dedicated insights curated by Box Office, ACEC, ANICA and the panel branded ANEC. There were also no shortage of events within the Trade Show, a consolidated event attended by leading national and international companies to present new offers for the film industry.
Ciné is an event promoted by ANICA, in collaboration with ANEC, with the participation of ACEC, supported by MiC, the Emilia-Romagna Region, the Emilia-Romagna Film Commission and the Municipality of Riccione, produced by Cineventi.
