The ninth edition of TFI Torino Film Industry is officially underway, taking place in Torino from November 26 to 30, 2026, as always concurrently and in collaboration with the Torino Film Festival and the Museo Nazionale del Cinema, confirming its role as the work and business core of the historic city film event.
The 2026 edition of TFI Torino Film Industry arrives at the close of a year in which Film Commission Torino Piemonte — the Foundation that has coordinated the market since its inception — celebrated its 25 years of activity with special events and initiatives throughout the 2025–2026 biennium, implementing networking projects during international festivals and industry reviews while also proposing local initiatives to share its activities with institutional stakeholders, citizens and students.
This cycle of events was proposed by FCTP to share a review of its first 25 years of activity with audiovisual professionals and citizens alike, while highlighting the Foundation's future prospects as a study center, research and innovation laboratory, hub for young talent and talent discovery, creative workshop, and a secure space for encouraging and building connections between the educational world and the industry.
In this sense, the ninth edition of TFI Torino Film Industry constitutes a true 'prova del 9' aimed at focusing and consolidating the results of previous editions, exploring themes and analyses that have always been central to the program, in synergy with partner organizations that decisively shape its identity: from Fondazione Piemonte dal Vivo, to AGIS Piemonte and Valle D'Aosta, and the Centro Nazionale del Cortometraggio, which is organizing a new edition of the ShorTO Film Market.
Accreditations to participate in the event will open between late September and early October 2026.
